As a dentist, I love making people look and feel better about themselves. I especially enjoy cosmetic dentistry; it is great to be able to restore someone to a place where they feel like they have a healthy, beautiful smile of which they can truly be proud. Working with people is the best part of my job! I have met so many wonderful people in my practice that I have enjoyed getting to know personally over the past 30 years. They are relationships that I genuinely cherish.

My own childhood experience with dentistry inspired me to pursue a career in the oral healthcare field. I want to give my patients something that I didn’t have for a long time: positive dental experiences free of pain and anxiety.

I grew up in Lexington, KY and have lived and practiced dentistry here in Paducah for the past 30 years. My husband and practice partner, Kinney, have two daughters, Kristen and Paige, a son-in-law named Kip, and a grandson named Maddox. We also have two loving dogs, Annie and Nemo.

I enjoy spending my free time working out and training for half-marathons, riding bikes, needlepoint, reading, and Bible study. Kinney is even teaching me how to play golf! Through our church, First Baptist Church Paducah, Kinney and I have been able to serve others as dentists in Central America. Those experiences have been more rewarding than I can say.

I feel very blessed to have been given gifts that allow me to serve people in my community every day. My profession allows me to give back to a community that has given so much to me. It feels good to be able to do things for patients that they never dreamed possible. It is exciting and rewarding to take a patient that is anxious about a dental visit and actually make them look forward to coming into the office! To be able to change the way people feel about themselves, and make some people smile for the first time, is really what dentistry is all about.

I am a proud native of Paducah, and so happy to have spent my life and career in such a wonderful community. My wife and practice partner, Kathy, have been married for 30 years. We have two daughters, Kristen and Paige, a son-in-law named Kip, and a grandson named Maddox. Our dogs, Annie and Nemo, keep our hands full at home.

My free time is spent playing lots of golf, traveling, cycling, and training for a half marathon with Kathy. I am also a huge UK basketball & St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan! Kathy and I are members of First Baptist Church in Paducah. Through the church, I’ve been on foreign mission trips, during which I’ve had the privilege of serving in Central and South America as a dentist.

Dentistry provides me an avenue to help people, challenge me on a daily basis, and provide for my family in a meaningful and community-focused way. The relationships I have created with patients and their families have given me the opportunity to better understand people from a wide range of backgrounds, providing me with the chance to broaden my horizons and experiences. I have had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life and people that I would never have had the pleasure meeting had it not been for becoming a dentist.
I chose dentistry because I wanted to improve people’s self-confidence. I want to help people get the smile they have always wanted and regain the function that their teeth once had. I continuously strive to be the best dentist for my patients.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Biology – St. Louis University
  • Doctorate of Dental Medicine – University of Louisville School of Dentistry

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Claire, and I have a beautiful daughter, Lucy, and a dog named Louie. If I’m not with my family you can probably find me on the golf course, trying to get better at the sport I have fallen in love with. I have a strong sense of pride being from Paducah, which fuels my desire to become active in the community to help it thrive. My family has been in Paducah for decades and I not only wish to provide the best quality care for my patients, but through community involvement, I hope to enhance the area as a whole.

Dentistry is a wonderful career that allows me to meet new people every day and treat their oral health needs. Each patient has different needs from regular cleaning and checkups to rehabilitating the entire mouth. One of the most rewarding and important parts of the profession of dentistry is finding the source and alleviating pain from a tooth or teeth. I love having the opportunity to care for my patients and get to know them with the time we share together in the office. I chose dentistry because I love biology and working with my hands. I find dentistry to be an amazing blend of Art and Science.

  • Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and minor in chemistry -Georgetown College
  • Doctorate of Dental Medicine-University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

I have had the pleasure of practicing dentistry for over ten years now and I have taken a broad range of continuing education courses to stay up to date the the ever changing world of dentistry.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Purchase area Dental Society.

When I am not treating patients, you can find me spending time with my family. I met my beautiful wife, Molly, at Georgetown College and we have three beautiful children, Benjamin, Miles, and Nora. We love to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping, riding bikes, and fishing. We are fans of the University of Kentucky Wildcats as well as the St. Louis Cardinals. We love all that the local Paducah area has to offer, and can often be found downtown listening to music or enjoying one of the beautiful parks. We attend St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. Although we are not Paducah natives we are proud to call our selves Paducahns.

Meet the Staff

I have lived in Lone Oak all my life and worked for Dr. Kinney and Dr. Kathy for 28 years. I love working with our patients and getting to know them. The relationships I’ve built working with and meeting all the patients mean a lot to me. I am happily married with two children. We enjoy spending our time together with family and with our church.

I joined Broadway Dental Care in 2000 as a registered dental hygienist. I enjoy educating my patients about their oral health. I strive to make their appointments a pleasant and pain-free experience, while building lasting connections with them. Our doctors and staff are great to work with and always put our patients first. In my spare time I love running, bicycle riding, and going to St. Louis baseball games.

Each patient is a challenge, and it is my job to make an individualized oral hygiene regimen to improve their overall health. Not only do they learn from me, but I learn from them, too! I get to know a little more about each person at every visit, until we really are more like friends. I grew up in Southern Illinois and reside on a farm with my husband and twin son and daughter. I stay busy with my kids’ activities, but I do enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, and traveling with my family when we get the chance.

I joined Broadway Dental Care in 1997, but have over 25 years of experience working in dentistry. I enjoy meeting new people and making their smiles healthier and more beautiful. We have such a great team here; we work well together and truly care about our patients. At home, I have a husband and one child. We love hiking, biking, and anything outdoors.

This is my first experience in the dental field and I absolutely love it! I am here to help patients with all their scheduling needs, monitor referrals, and coordinate with insurance companies. I love meeting and talking with new patients. I do whatever I can to make them feel at home! Our team here is like family; we all take care of each other and help one another, and we hope our patients feel like family, too. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family. I am married with two children. We love traveling, doing church activities, and being outdoors. When I have time, I also love to read.
