I wanted to go into dentistry at an early age.  I became more passionate about my career the further I progressed in training. Dentistry is a combination of biology, art, and engineering. A patient’s confidence, appearance, and general health can all improve through dental medicine.  I love the growth and dynamism of dentistry, and it challenges me to grow as a practitioner. It is a meaningful way to give back to others and connect with my community.

It brings me joy to return home to provide dental care. As a native of Paducah, this community has shaped who I am through friendships, education, sports, and faith. I am happy to see familiar faces in the dental chair and meet new ones. I strive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and give back to the community that has raised me.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy playing cello, horseback riding, and hanging out with family. I started cello in middle school with the St. Mary Orchestra. I played actively through high school and college, with highlights including participation in the Kentucky All-State Symphonic Orchestra, Governor’s School for the Arts for cello in 2013, and the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in 2016. While I put down my instrument during dental school and residency, I am happy to have picked it back up after moving home. I hope to participate in local ensembles and share my love of music with others.

Horseback riding has been another major outlet of mine. I grew up riding horses since the age of five. I competed on the state and national level for dressage and events through the United States Pony Club and United States Dressage Federation. Now, I simply enjoy an easy ride or day around the barn with my lovely horse, Wild.

While these two hobbies have greatly enhanced my life, what I enjoy the most is spending time with friends and family. My parents have lived in Paducah for over 20 years, and many of my closest friends are within driving distance. I am thankful for the opportunities Paducah provides me, and I want to contribute as much as I can to the community.
